Desperate Housewives S:8 | Give Me The Blame; Finishing the Hat E:22 & E:23 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV — Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Derrick Shore breaks down the episode in which Karen is leaving her home, so she can die at the hospital because Roy is unable to take of her. So the ladies decide they will take care of her in order for her to die at home with dignity. At this moment Mrs. McCluskey realizes the girls have always considered her as a friend. Susan is still planning to sell her house, but she doesn’t want to tell her friends about it because of Bree’s trial. But Lee tells her she has to because there was an offer for her house. Tom decides to reconcile with Lynette, but when he sees another man undressing her, he decides to walk away. However, this was a misuderstanding: the unknown man was Lee, who was just helping Lynette with the dress for Renee’s wedding. Gabrielle decides to confess that she killed Alejandro so Bree could not be convicted. While having a discussion with Carlos about it, Karen listens to everything and makes her think. Carlos tells Gaby he is going to take the fall, but Gaby had a plan to stop him.

At Bree’s trial, everything is going badly when Ben refuses to testify and is sent to jail. When Renee goes to see him, she tells him what she saw the night of the murder. After that, the D.A. warns Renee that if she doesn’t say what she saw, she would send Ben back to Australia. Then, after giving her testimony, everything for Bree goes down and the ladies confront Renee asking her why she did that if they were supposed to be friends. But Renee said that they’re not friends because they’ve kept a secret all this time and she preferred to choose the man she loved before them. Trip begs Bree to tell him the truth about that night, but she refuses. Trip kisses her, confessing his love for her, which leads her to confess Carlos was responsible for Alejandro’s murder; however, she tells him not to put Gaby on the stand. But Trip puts Gaby on the stand anyway and asks her if she knew Ramon by another name; she answered he was her stepfather. Immediately, Bree asks for a recess, which is denied by the judge, so she pretends to faint in order to get it.

Karen talks to Trip and tells him she can discredit Renee by saying she was drunk. Trip tells him he could put her for next Monday, but Karen tells him she may not be alive. So he accepts as Gaby is not there yet. So when Karen is on the stand, she says she’s lived on the Lane for 35 years and knows all the ladies pretty well. Then, she gives a “speech” about what a community is, which moves the jury and the judge. When the D.A. asks what’s her point, Karen confess she killed Alejandro because he was after Gaby again. The D.A. doesn’t believe because she doesn’t have the strength, but she quotes Gaby by telling: “Adrenaline, fear… you’d be surprised what people can do.” After having talked to the judge, Bree is declared innocent and charges against Karen are not presented due to her age and health.

The ladies organize a small celebration for Bree, where she forgives Renee, but refuses to talk to Trip. The episode ends with Tom and Lynette getting back together after admitting they’ve always loved each other. Katherine makes a surprise return to the lane having made a huge amount of money as the owner of a frozen food conglomerate in France and offers Lynette a job as the head of her United States expansion. At Renee’s wedding, Lynette realizes that she is in fact happy and gives a lovely toast that is as much for the happy couple as it is for Tom when she advises them to never forget how great they feel at this moment to know that someone loves them and that that is enough to keep you happy. When Tom hears that Lynette is truly happy he says maybe she should take that job after all.

Gaby gets a huge promotion at work and is nervous and excited about all the new hours and responsibilities. Carlos cheerleads for her until she starts missing dinners and trying to buy him off with fancy gifts like he used to do with her. He says he wants her time and for her to be present. He then scares her into realizing what she’s neglecting by hiring a hot female gardener as a reminder of what she did with John Rowland all those years ago. She is angry about this since it is not funny to him to mock the most shameful thing she’s ever done. At Renee’s wedding they make up and compliment each other on how much they’ve grown and how their relationship works now and vow to keep it great.

Susan finally reveals to her friends that she’s moving. While seeing Julie through the last weeks of her pregnancy, Susan tries to set her up on a date with her OB, Susan later reveals she may or may not have another torrid romance in her life but the memories of Mike and her life on the Lane will be enough to keep her warm.

Julie, Gaby, and Susan are all helping insane bridezilla Renee on her big day. In the limo on the way to the wedding Julie’s water breaks… all over Renee’s dress. They make a quick stop at Gaby’s department store to get a new wedding dress. While they’re busy stealing/borrowing the dress, Susan jumps into the driver’s seat of the limo and takes Julie to the hospital.

Gaby and Renee emerge and when the limo is gone they hotfoot it to the wedding. Renee arrives disheveled and distraught but Ben says all the right things and the wedding goes off without a hitch and includes Lynette’s lovely toast and Carlos and Gaby’s reconciliation.

Meanwhile, in her turn helping Mrs. McCluskey, Bree is tasked with getting a specific hard to get 45 and a turntable to play it on for the dying woman. At the same time Roy and Mrs. McCluskey notice Trip constantly calling Bree and her giving him the brush off and this gives Mrs. McCluskey an idea. On the day of the wedding Bree stops in and sees that Mrs. McCluskey has the record and turntable and Roy says Trip got it for them. Trip then crashes the wedding and finally convinces Bree that he truly cares for her. She says she couldn’t trust that he really liked her after he learned about all of her ugly secrets—the drinking, promiscuity, the cover-up. He says he doesn’t want to love an ideal, but a person. Then they kiss and reconcile.

On her deathbed, Mrs. McCluskey listens to her record “Wonderful, Wonderful” and we see a montage: Renee and Ben dance at their reception, Julie giving birth, Tom and Lynette kissing and dancing at the reception and then Porter running in and telling them about Julie and rushing off to the hospital. Just as the baby is born, Mrs. McCluskey dies. Bree gets a call and she and Trip run to Mrs. McCluskey’s house to comfort Roy and grieve. Gaby and Carlos dance with their girls.

During a poker game, before Susan’s departure, the girls vow that this would not be their last poker game, but as Mary Alice reveals via voice-over, it was their last. Lynette and Tom move to New York, where Lynette works as a CEO; they move into a penthouse apartment overlooking Central Park and spend the rest of their lives happily together with their six grandchildren. Gaby and Carlos left the following fall; with the help of Carlos, Gaby started a personal shopping website that led to her own show on the Home Shopping Network, and they then moved to a mansion in California, where they still fight but are truly committed to each other. Finally, Bree married Trip and two years after the Solises left the Lane, they moved to Louisville, where Bree became a member of the Kentucky state legislature.

Susan moved first, but before she did, she introduced herself to the woman moving in and wished her well. The woman worries it will be boring in the suburbs but Susan assures her it won’t be. Before she leaves Susan takes one last spin around the block with M.J. and Julie. As she drives away she is benevolently looked upon by many of the ghosts of the lane including Mike Delfino, Karen McCluskey and her son, George Williams, Juanita “Mama” Solis, Mona Clarke, Karl Mayer, Ellie Leonard, Nora Huntington, Rex Van De Kamp, Lillian Simms, Beth Young, Chuck Vance, Alma Hodge, Bradley Scott, Martha Huber and Mary Alice Young herself who says finally that even the most desperate life is oh so wonderful.

The final scene shows that life goes on in the neighborhood, as Jennifer, the woman who bought Susan’s house, hides a mysterious jewelry box in a locked cabinet while Mary Alice comments that mystery and secrets will continue to exist within Wisteria Lane. Desperate Housewives S:8 | With So Little to Be Sure Of E:19 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV — Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Derrick breaks down the episode in which Bree throws Renee a bridal shower to celebrate her upcoming wedding. During the party, Bree is arrested by police for the murder of Ramón Sanchez, who was previously known as Alejandro Perez, Gabrielle’s stepfather. After Bree is bailed out of jail by Bob, Lynette and Susan tell Bree that they cannot let her take the blame for his murder alone. Bree tells them that the police haven’t got enough evidence to convict her so it will be better for all of them if she takes the heat. Susan, Lynette and Gabrielle tell her that they will pay for all her legal costs. Bob recommends Bree to a brilliant lawyer called Trip Weston; however, he refuses to take on Bree’s case as it’s not a big enough challenge for him. Detective Murphy and Detective Heredia later find belongings that Alejandro had left in his hotel room, including a map that had Wisteria Lane circled on it. Murphy, who has a vendetta against Bree as he believes she’s responsible for Chuck’s death, writes Bree’s house number on the map and later shows it to her at the police station. Trip Weston later sees Bree struggling to cope and agrees to become her lawyer, much to the dismay of Murphy.

It’s Tom’s birthday and Lynette decides to make a cake for the occasion as part of her plan to win him back. Meanwhile, Jane tries to pressure Tom into delivering Lynette their divorce papers but he tells her it’s not the right time. Jane takes the papers anyway and ends up having green icing thrown over her. Lynette shows up at the restaurant where Tom is about to meet Jane for dinner and he is furious to find out that Jane had sent the papers. Lynette asks Tom if he wants to end their marriage, when he doesn’t reply, she signs the papers, leaves and breaks down in her car. Later on, Tom and Jane arrive home to their apartment where Jane tells him he needs to start putting her needs before Lynette’s but Tom makes it clear that as the mother of his children, Lynette is always going to be important to him, and it’s she who needs to learn to accept that.

Carlos is unimpressed when he discovers Gabrielle has been taking off her wedding ring to flirt with male customers at her new job in order to get them to spend huge amounts of money. Gabrielle tells Carlos she’s doing what she needs to do. She later treats him to a meal in a fancy restaurant and he wonders if they can afford it, but Gabrielle tells him that he doesn’t have to worry about it, as it’s her treat. A male client of Gabrielle’s turns up during the meal and Carlos becomes angry and leaves when Gabrielle refers to him as her brother. Later on, Carlos tells Gabrielle that he hates the fact that she is the one making the money and calling the shots but she tells him that he was the one who wanted to quit his job.

Lee and Susan begin to sort through Mike’s belongings and Susan becomes curious when Lee finds a locked box. Lee tells her that he should be the one to open it alone as if it’s a bad secret then it’s best for Susan not to know about it. Susan is later shocked when Lee leaves with the box, telling her it’s best if she doesn’t know what’s inside it. Susan goes to Julie for advice, who tells her that it’s better not to find out as it may tarnish her memory of Mike. Susan ignores the advice and demands that Lee tells her what’s inside. He tells her that every month Mike sent out a check to a woman, children’s drawings also appear to be in the box, making Susan assume that Mike had a secret child. Susan and Julie later head out to find out who the woman is, but they’re shocked when the woman runs a care home and that the checks were for Mike’s autistic sister Laura. Susan wonders why Mike would keep Laura a secret from her. The following morning, Susan comes downstairs to find Julie still awake and reading through Mike’s things, she tells Susan that Mike only kept Laura a secret because his mother, Adele, had given Laura away as she knew she wouldn’t be able to cope with her and that she’s regretted it ever since. Susan is relieved to find out that Mike only kept it a secret because Adele asked him to, as she didn’t want the family thinking bad of her. Julie begins to cry and tells Susan that she doesn’t want to make the same mistake with her child just because it’s an inconvenience; she then tells Susan that she wants to keep the baby. After smashing a few jars, M.J. and Susan both begin to cry and comfort one another.

Carlos is impressed when Gabrielle tells him that she wants to get a job and work her way up in business so that the family can afford to keep up their lifestyle. Gabrielle’s later disheartened when she discovers that she has no chance of finding a decent job due to her previous work which causes her to go and spend lots of money at one of her favorite stores. Gabrielle is unaware that she impresses customers and store workers with her sense of what to buy and how to match clothes. She later returns to the same store, after Carlos forces her to return everything, only to be offered a job as personal shopper, she accepts the job and begins immediately.

After deciding that she needs to win Tom back and save her marriage, Lynette recruits Penny to help her. The pair pretend to fall out over Lynette not wanting to take Penny to a Taylor Swift concert which leads to Jane offering to take Penny herself. During the concert, Lynette pretends to be having a problem with the electricity in the house and calls Tom over to in an attempt to win him back and remind him of the good times during their marriage. The pair eventually begin to bond while looking back over photos of their past, but as they’re seemingly about to kiss, Tom’s shirt sets on fire. Lynette absent mindedly turns on the lights to check on Tom’s burn which makes him realize that she staged the whole thing to try and seduce him. Lynette explains that she just wants to save her marriage, but Tom decides to leave. However, it appears that it may have worked as Tom lies to Jane about how he burned himself and he turns down an offer for sex, instead pretending that he has work to be getting on with.

Bree is thrilled when Andrew comes to visit and he apologizes for not calling to let her know that he’s OK after he lost his job. Andrew then introduces her to his new partner; however, Bree is shocked when it turns out to be a woman called Mary Beth, and that they’re engaged. Andrew tells Bree that he was never gay and that it was just a phase; however, Bree remains unconvinced. During dinner Bree is shocked to find out that Mary Beth’s parents are billionaires which makes her realize that Andrew is only marrying her to get to her money. She later decides to invite over some of Andrew’s gay friends, but Bree is shocked when Mary Beth admits she knows that Andrew’s gay, and that they’ve never even had sex, she just wants to marry him because no man has ever wanted to be with her before. Bree tells Mary Beth that she shouldn’t have to settle and that the perfect man is out there somewhere, which leads her to realize she can’t marry him, so she calls off the wedding. Bree and Andrew later have a heart to heart and she manages to convince him to stay with her until he can find his own place and get back on his feet.

When he eventually gets round to doing so, the police turn up to take Ben to the station to question him regarding the body of Alejandro that was found at his work site. Renee accepts his proposal before he goes. Renee later shares the news with all her friends and Ben tells Bree that the body was found. Renee later tells Bree during the wedding planning that the police don’t believe Ben knew about the body being there. In this episode host Derrick breaks down the episode in which after the murder of Mike, the residents of Wisteria Lane get ready to attend his funeral and reflect on how he had helped change their lives. Lynette looks back on a conversation she had with Mike while Tom moved out some of his belongings from their home, realizing that she must fight to win him back and save her marriage. They decide to wait before arresting her to see what else they can uncover.

Susan struggles with making decisions regarding Mike’s funeral and tells the Reverend that nothing will ever be the same again. As the service comes to an end Susan decides to speak at the funeral after looking back on a day where Susan, Mike and M.J. had dinner together in their favourite restaurant and how Mike described what heaven would be for him. Susan then tells everyone what Mike is doing in heaven, and that because he’s there she has to say goodbye to him for now. She says one final goodbye before walking to the coffin and whispering back the only poem Mike knew: “I love you once. I love you twice. I love you more than beans and rice”. Renee then sings ‘Amazing Grace’ as Mike’s coffin is carried out of the church and lowered into the ground as Mike’s tearful family and friends watch on.

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Derrick breaks down the episode in which Orson has moved back in to take care of Bree and she reveals everything about the murder and how it destroyed her relationships with Gaby, Susan and Lynette. Later, Orson refuses to let the other women in and lies to Bree about them visiting. He suggests taking a vacation to Maine since he has recently inherited a property from his late aunt, she agrees to go but first tells him she thinks it’s time to make amends with the girls because in a way they saved her by sending him to her. Worried, Orson tells Bree that the girls did visit but said cruel things about her and so she agrees to go without seeing them. It is later revealed that after re-learning to drive he began stalking Bree and was not only aware of the cover up but was also behind the notes Bree had been receiving, all in an attempt to get her back.

Gaby is having trouble taking care of the girls, running the house and helping out with his business whilst Carlos is away in rehab. To make matters worse Roy invites himself to stay because Karen has kicked him out although he can’t figure out why. Although at first Gaby is uneasy about this, when she sees how much the girls listen to him she is keen to have him stay. So much so that she thwarts any attempts by him or Karen to reconcile. It is later revealed that Karen’s cancer has returned and she broke up with Roy so he wouldn’t have to go through watching her become ill and die as he did with his first wife.

Susan is still trying to convince Julie to keep her baby and suggests to Mike that she try and contact the father. When she finds out the father is, in fact, Porter Scavo she is shocked, but later agrees to support him when he decides he would rather raise his daughter alone than have her adopted. Susan divulges this information to Lynette who is furious and tells Susan that her son is not ready to be a father and that the baby would be better off adopted. She also tries to convince Porter of the same thing but he tells her that he is already in love with his baby and will do everything to take care of her, Lynette is left unconvinced. Julie, meanwhile, tells her mother she cannot forgive her for supporting Porter and taking the decision about her daughter out of her hands.

Ben tries to set his property development on fire in order to claim the insurance, but is caught by Mike. The stress of the situation puts Ben in the hospital so Mike goes to Renee and tells her about Ben’s troubles with the loan shark. She visits him in the hospital and offers to pay off his debt, but he refuses, telling her he wants to fix everything and be a man she deserves. Desperate Housewives S:8 | Who Can Say What’s True? E:11 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Derrick breaks down the episode in which immediately following the events of the previous episode, Bree makes her way to Gabrielle’s house to talk with her and Lynette about the second letter she just received. After a tense discussion about the issue Gabrielle and Lynette come to the conclusion that since Bree is the only one who has received any letters, then maybe who ever this person is only wants her. A disgusted Bree marches off while Gabrielle and Lynette decide to reconcile and continue to be mad at Bree. As Bree walks home a person is seen in a car, watching her.

Susan heads to Oklahoma to visit Alejandro’s family. Once she gets there she sees that the house is for sale and is invited in by the Realtor who shares private information about the family. Alejandro’s wife, Claudia, comes home and is disgusted to hear the conversation taking place. The Realtor excuses herself and Susan offers to buy many of Claudia’s nick-nacks, pretending to be an Americana collector and writes her a check. Claudia says that Alejandro leaves for extended periods of time often, but always comes back, and that he is a good husband and a good man. While she says this her daughter looks on with fear in her eyes and face, something Susan can’t help but notice.

Lynette makes dinner at her house for herself and her kids, and all of them notice that the light is flickering. The kids mention that Lynette should call their father, as he will know what to do, but Lynette abruptly refuses. Saying that she should be more independent she attempts to fix the problem herself but the next day she ends up putting holes in the kid’s walls, much to their dismay. After Parker and Penny say to call their father or at least a repairman Lynette becomes angry with her kids saying that she will do it herself and that if she had known that their father would eventually leave she would have had him teach her how to do things like that. Upset that she yelled at her kids, Lynette goes to make dinner.

When Mike’s paycheck bounces he goes to Ben who tells him that he just switched banks and there must have been a misunderstanding. At work Mike sees that things are being taken away and goes to talk Ben who is obviously taking money from a loan shark to pay loans. Mike says that Ben will never be able to pay him back and will always be at his mercy and tells the loan shark and his assistances to leave. Later Mike makes the comment that Renee got $12 million from her divorce, something that Ben hadn’t realized.

Gabrielle agrees to go to a business meeting for Carlos and asks Lynette to teach her everything she knows in one day. After a tense study session Lynette remarks that Gabrielle can’t just float on by on her looks anymore and Gabrielle says that Lynette always has to be right. Both women are upset but after Gabrielle’s meeting ends in disaster she realizes that Lynette is right, and after the ordeal with the light fixture at her house Lynette sees that Gabrielle is right in saying that she always has to be right and never wants to accept help. The two reconcile once more and Lynette calls a repair man to fix her light.

Bree and Renee go to a bar where Bree ends up meeting a man who seems to have the same taste as her. They end up going back to his place and have brief sex in his pool, but is interrupted when his boss comes storming out of the house – the house, the pool and even the suit he is wearing all belonged to his boss. Bree awkwardly leaves and tells the story to Renee who says that she thinks that Bree had a blast. After consideration Bree says that it was exhilarating.

Susan comes back to Alejandro’s house and talks to his step-daughter Marisa. She asks if Alejandro ever did anything bad to her in anyway and Marisa cries, implying that he did the same thing to her that he did to Gabrielle many years ago. Susan calmly and seriously says that Alejandro is never coming back and will never hurt her again. Susan goes home and no longer feels guilt about Alejandro’s death, while Marisa tells her mother what Susan told her. The episode ends with Claudia taking the check that Susan gave her out of her pocket and looking at Susan’s address. There to help Derrick is Roxy Striar. It’s Desperate Housewives’s “Who Can Say What’s True” podcast!

Desperate Housewives S:8 | Suspicion Song E:8 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Derrick breaks down the episode in which Lynette realizes it’s her 22nd wedding anniversary which makes her feel down. Renee tells her she needs to move on and start living her life but when flowers are delivered from Tom she is touched and begins to think Tom would like to get back together. She takes Penny’s keys to his apartment and plans to leave him a bottle of Scotch on his night stand to continue a tradition. Soon after she arrives Tom returns home with Jane, forcing Lynette to hide under their bed as the pair get intimate. When Lynette is discovered Jane leaves to give her and Tom some privacy. Tom feels guilty and apologies when he realizes he forgot to cancel a yearly order with the florist he had arranged 12 years ago to make sure Lynette received flowers every year. A sad Lynette then leaves.

Bree awakes during the night due to an intruder in her home. She investigates with a gun and is surprised to see Chuck by the front door. Bree demands to know what he’s doing and he tells her that he heard her police call over the radio and came to investigate. He later tells Bree he thinks someone is trying to send her a message and try to make her feel unsafe in her own home. He later leaves only to continue stalking and watching her every move. Bree has had enough and tells Chuck to stop with his harassment and she demands that he leaves her alone.

Gabrielle forces Carlos to take time off work when his drinking gets out of hand. She is forced to make sure things at his work are running smoothly and when a big client of Carlos finds out about his problems he demands to see him. Carlos eventually agrees to Gabrielle’s relief.

Susan’s recent painting showing herself, Bree, Gabrielle and Lynette burying the body of Alejandro in the woods receives huge compliments from a respected art reviewer called Felix. He tells Susan he wishes them to go on show in an art gallery but she refuses as she needs the paintings to remain private. Andre is unsuccessful in persuading Susan to give permission so he and Felix go behind her back and use the painting regardless. Susan is horrified during the night of the show and demands that the paintings get taken down immediately but Felix tells her that can only happen if somebody buys the paintings. Susan calls Bree and Gabrielle to come and buy them and they are horrified as they see the paintings as a confession to what they did. They buy the paintings but Chuck, who has continued to stalk Bree, sees them and lets the three of them know that he is very close to finding out what happened and what they did. He then leaves leaving Gabrielle and Susan furious with Bree for not telling them what Chuck has been doing.

Desperate Housewives S:8 | School of Hard Knocks E:4 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Derrick Shore breaks down the episode in which Bree’s daughter Danielle and her son come to stay with her when her marriage fails (as Bree predicted it would). Danielle says she will be starting her own business selling exercise equipment, though it turns out that Danielle was actually selling sex toys such as sex swings rather than actual work-out equipment. After arguing, Bree sees that her once-lackadaisical daughter is finally committed to a career and offers to support her endeavor as a very silent, invisible, anonymous partner.

Gaby, frustrated with the drop-off system at Juanita’s school, gets her pass taken away by the obnoxious and rude drop-off supervisor, Dana. Thus, she must park at the “B Lot” and walk Juanita to class. She finds out from other moms that she may never get her pass back, and they plot to stand up against Dana at the Parent-Teacher Association meeting. But when Dana bribes the other moms by giving them back their passes, Gaby is left to fend for herself, resulting in her being sent to the “C Lot.” Determined to get revenge on Dana, she drives through the drop-off zone without a pass, crushing several pylons. When she watches Juanita walk off, she accidentally hits Dana with her car.

As she visits Dana in the hospital, who has a broken back, she asks Gaby to assume her role as supervisor and PTA president while she recovers. Gaby, who is not up for that role, kindly turns it down. However, Dana threatens to press charges against Gaby unless she assumes her role. This is strictly for revenge. Dana tells Gaby she was once very much like her, but the overly demanding job turned her into the shrewish martinet she now is—costing her both husband and friends. Desperate, Gaby has no choice but to agree.

Susan begins taking an art class taught by Andre Zeller. She shows him her illustrations, however, he says that they are not what he looks for in art. As he continuously tells Susan that she could never become an artist like himself because of her rather “Soccer Mom” appearance, Susan proves him wrong by angrily splattering paint all over. When she comes back later to retrieve her forgotten portfolio, Andre asks her to join the group; the passionate woman he finally saw is worthy of attending his class.

Lynette suspects Tom is dating someone. To get to the bottom of the situation, she gives Penny a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 so they can video chat, though more so Lynette can spy on Tom. She eventually discovers that Tom is dating a fitness instructor named Chloe, who is half his age and also is a lingerie model. She and Renee decide to attend her fitness class, where she meets Tom at the end of the class. Lynette confronts Tom about dating Chloe, though he reveals that he is dating Chloe’s mother, Jane. Devastated and confused, Lynette tells Tom to forget about their couples counseling appointment, as she sees no point anymore.

The episode ends with Chuck at his desk at the police station, staring at the ring he proposed to Bree with. His partner soon walks in with a pile of missing persons cases, one of them being Gaby’s stepfather Alejandro. There to help Derrick is co-host Sara Stretton. Desperate Housewives S:8 | Making the Connection E:2 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In this episode host Sara Stretton breaks down the episode in which desperately trying to get Carlos to forget about the Alejandro murder, Gaby seeks advice from a stripper to teach her how to dance on a pole, but is dreadfully unsuccessful. She then hires the stripper to dance for Carlos as he experiences an erectile dysfunction, though Carlos tells Gaby that none of this will make him forget and move on.

Bree is frightened as she realizes the letter she received has exactly the same wording as the letter Mary Alice Young received years earlier, prompting her to commit suicide. Bree then seeks advice from Paul Young, who is now in prison after confessing murder, though at first he does not remember anything.

Susan, still riddled with guilt, tries to get her herself punished in public which starts by forgetting to pay for a pack of soda, and is followed by eating all the free samples at a bakery, and others. Eventually she is pulled over by a cop for parking in front of a fire hydrant, though at first is let off with a warning because the cop wants to get home to his newborn daughter. Susan eventually kicks down his motorcycle and is arrested. Afraid to call Mike, she calls Carlos who comes to pick her up at the police station. Carlos then takes her out for coffee to discuss.

Lynette and Tom face their separation, with Tom staying in a fancy hotel. Lynette says that Tom cannot say no to the kids, as he gave Penny a large slushy, which evidently gave her a sugar rush. In the following days, Parker asks to go a party hosted by an irresponsible friend, where there will be no adult supervision. Wanting to test out Tom, Lynette leaves the decision up to him, where his response is “it’s not a no.” Parker then goes to the party, which turns out to be a house party where everyone is drinking alcohol illegally. Lynette soon shows up looking for Parker and soon finds Tom, and finds out that Parker called him to come get him because he drank too much. Tom blames Lynette for the entire situation. Tom then reveals that he misses his kids and that’s why he can’t say no.

Renee finally wins the affection of new neighbor Ben Faulkner, and he asks her out. Little does she know the date is feeding the elderly at a retirement home. Later in the evening, Renee reveals that she dislikes charity because when her mother died years ago, Renee shifted from relative to relative, most of them dirt poor, and she would receive clothing and food from charity. Thus, it brings back bad memories for her. Ben listens and accepts Renee for who she is.

Bree finally decides to tell someone about the letter, and tells Gaby. Gaby demands that Bree break up with Chuck to hide the possibility of him finding out. Bree agrees to do so. When she arrives home, she finds Chuck in the shower. She soon receives a collect phone call from Paul, saying that when he confessed to Martha Huber’s murder, the letter was taken by a cop with a short name, and he suggests Hans and Vince, leading Bree to realize that he means Chuck Vance, and abruptly hangs up. Bree then acts as if everything is okay.

The episode ends with Bree and Chuck lying in bed that night, as Bree stares at his gun. There to help Sara is co-host Heather Basra. It’s Desperate Housewives’s “Making the Connection” podcast!

In tonight’s episode host Derrick Shore breaks down the drama filled episode Paul begins to suspect that Susan is trying to kill him by poisoning his food (which really is poisoned, though by Felicia who is clearly setting it up to make it look like that Susan is the culprit) and he has the food tested. He then finds out that the food will cause him a slow, painful death.

Meanwhile, Tom and Lynette want to take the family on a vacation: Tom wants to take them to the luxurious Hawaii, while Lynette wants to take them on a trip to the Grand Canyon, a national park and a seven-minute roller coaster. They then decide to have the kids vote on which vacation they want, leading to an argument between Tom and Lynette, with Lynette saying that Tom’s new job has turned him into a pompous goat, and Tom says that his new job turned her into a raging witch. Penny (Darcy Rose Byrnes) is revealed to have heard the entire argument and runs upstairs crying. Lynette and Tom decide to go on a weekend together without the kids in order to try to salvage their relationship.

Bree goes out with the cop, Detective Chuck Vance, and agrees to have Renee find out some information about him. On their date, Bree confronts Chuck on some horrifying information about him, and he does the same, revealing that he dug up some information on her. She then demands he take her home, and on the way they see a prostitute named Violet (Malese Jow) and Chuck tells her to get in the car and he’ll take her to the women’s center. On the way, Chuck reveals some false information about Bree to Violet (that Bree was in the same situation as her 15 years ago) and she sees the world completely different afterward. Bree then gives Chuck a second chance.

Gaby lets Juanita watch a scary horror movie, causing her to have constant nightmares about it. Juanita says that in her nightmare, a crazy man comes on their front lawn. To prove this is not true, Gaby sets up a tent and they sleep outside. Lee soon comes by and playfully scares them with a plastic axe. Neither Gaby or Juanita are amused. Later that same night, Gaby sees a man walking towards the tent, and, assuming it’s Lee again, tells him to go away. It is revealed that it is not Lee, but a man wearing a Panama hat, with a devious expression on his face. Gaby screams which makes the stranger flee.

Susan, who is desperately trying to get her old job back at M.J.’s school again, finds work on the open house committee, and is asked to get streamers. Susan then goes to drop off some food for Paul, and he confronts her about the poisoned food, causing Susan to realize that Felicia has always been with her while she was cooking. She realizes, horrified, that her cookies were also poisoned. She then rushes back to the school to find everybody eating her cookies, and no way to stop it. To make matters worse, all of the cookies made by various people have been put together, making it impossible for Susan to know which ones are hers. In a frantic attempt to save everyone, Susan knocks down all the serving trays of cookies, grabs cookies out of peoples hands, and finally runs up on stage where she grabs the microphone and tells the whole assembly that her cookies could kill them. Desperate Housewives S:7 | I’ll Swallow Poison on Sunday E:20 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In tonight’s episode host Derrick Shore is back and unfortunately unable to break down the new episode due to Osama’s death. However all is not lost because special guest Scott Genginker, who is the casting director for the show, calls in and is interviewed about the show. With Susan still cooking and tending for a sickly Paul, a seemingly sad Felicia appears on Susan’s doorstep, looking for comfort after Beth’s death. This starts a series of events that has Felicia helping Susan with Paul’s cooking, though Felicia is hiding a dreadful secret of what she’s putting in the food.

With Gaby, Juanita and Celia staying with Bree, Bree decides to lay down some ground rules for when they’re at her house, after the two spoiled girls break an expensive platter, a mirror and other things. Juanita soon asks Carlos why he and Gaby are fighting, and Carlos takes the opportunity to tell Juanita the truth about her grandmother’s death, causing Juanita and Celia to think that “Bree killed Grandma.” Earlier, Bree is caught by Chuck Vance, a police officer, and she finds him creepy. Later, Bree has seemingly talked some sense into Juanita and Celia, who are acting like Bree’s slaves and calling her “Mrs. Van de Kamp”. Later that night when the girls are in bed, Bree attempts to pick up a pillow off the floor of the girls’ bedroom, causing Juanita and Celia to think that she was going to smother them. The girls then call the police, and Chuck Vance returns to Bree’s house. Carlos then comes over and takes the girls home. Gaby is then furious that Carlos told Juanita the truth about his mother’s death, and Bree eventually tells Gaby to “go home to her husband.”

Back at Susan’s, she asks Felicia to try a fresh batch of brownies that they both made (with Felicia poisoning the batter) and Felicia hesitantly eats a full brownie, and promptly vomits in her handbag. Later when Susan was feeding Paul, she tells him that her and Mike were ready to move back into their house, causing Paul to believe that she didn’t actually care about him, and that she just wanted her house back. He then throws her out, and stares out the window angrily. He then collapses on the floor.

Meanwhile all of this, Lynette and Renee decorate Tom’s office, leading into an awry result with Tom and Lynette. There to help Derrick is Sara Stretton and Roxy Striar. Be sure to check out the video version of the show on http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/14425538. It’s Desperate Housewives’s “I’ll Swallow Poison on Sunday” episode.

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In tonight’s episode host Sara Stretton is back breaking down the episode in which Susan is told by her doctor that she can’t have sex for six weeks following her kidney transplant. She ends up having a sexy dream about Paul and wakes up in shock. Mike reveals that she has been moaning in her sleep and, believing that she was dreaming about him, asks her for details. However, Susan manages to stop him asking by saying that she will show him when they can have sex again in two days time.

Later, Susan goes to pick up M.J. from Karen’s and asks her to watch him again on Wednesday. Karen agrees, explaining that she knows that is the night Mike and Susan can have sex again. Susan is embarrassed, but as she leaves Karen points out that Susan’s old house – rented by Paul – is messy. Susan goes over to check on Paul and, while she is waiting for him to answer the door, picks up his newspapers for him. She is surprised when he opens the door and she is face to face with his crotch. However, she notices that he is thin and behind on his chores and asks if he is alright. Paul insists that he is fine. Later, Susan tells Mike that Paul seems run down but Mike admits that he doesn’t care, pointing out that Paul has behaved badly towards them in the past. He asks Susan to stay away from Paul. However, that night Susan has another sexy dream about Paul. At her next doctor’s appointment, she asks if the dreams are normal. Her doctor suggests that her dreams are telling her to make sure Paul is all right and admits that they might not stop until she does. Susan goes to see Paul and eventually he reluctantly agrees to let her in. Susan, noticing that his house is a mess, decides to help him make a potato and leek soup. As they eat, Susan says they should start having meals together again. She suggests that Paul could become the friendly neighbor she used to have once more. Meanwhile, Mike drops off M.J. at Karen’s house and is shocked to see through the window that Susan and Paul are together. He storms over there and Susan spots him. She goes outside and explains that Paul is suffering and has no-one. Later, she returns home and is surprised to see a romantic meal laid out. Mike admits that he thought about it and realised that he can’t be mad at Susan for being kind and compassionate. He carries her to the bedroom.

Lynette goes to stand in the line for a drink and reads the conference program over somebody’s shoulder. She begins chatting to the woman holding it and explains that she is looking forward to the keynote speaker, Chris Cavanaugh. The woman agrees and introduces herself as Meg Butler, the president of Amtec. Lynette explains that she is with her husband, and Meg immediately becomes rude, explaining that Lynette won’t see Chris Cavanaugh because the seminars are not available to plus ones. Lynette is surprised and Meg explains that it is because some people spent their lives working up the corporate ladder and others just married someone who did. Lynette is furious but Lee manages to drag her away. Lynette ends up attending yoga, salsa dancing and flower arranging with the other plus ones and gets more and more frustrated. Eventually, she tries to persuade the other plus ones to storm the seminars with her, saying that they are in 21st century America, not an oppressive patriarchal regime. However, the organizers quickly offer the plus ones cocktails and they are distracted. Lynette gives up and takes a drink too. Later, she finds Tom and asks if he can pull some strings to get her into the Chris Cavanaugh talk but he admits that there is nothing he can do. One of the organizers arrives and drags Lynette away to the spa. While she is there, Lynette overhears Meg talking on the phone, explaining that she is going to spend time in the spa before going to Chris Cavanaugh’s speech. While she is in a jacuzzi, Lynette steals Meg’s pass and stuffs her clothes in a bin. She arrives at the speech and is ushered to a seat in the front row. However, she is shocked when the person on stage announces that Meg is going to introduce Chris. She gets up on stage and admits that she isn’t Meg, before making a cringe-worthy introductory speech. She is interrupted when Meg arrives in her dressing gown, shouting that Lynette stole her pass and her clothes. Lynette runs away. Back at home, Renee comes over and discovers that Tom and Lynette are in the middle of a fight. Tom yells at Lynette that she embarrassed him, adding that for years he took a back seat to her career but she can’t do the same for him. When he storms off, Lynette tells Renee that the conference was awful because the plus ones were treated like second class citizens. Renee admits that she will just have to get used to it.

Carlos continues to ban Gaby from seeing Bree. Gaby and Bree stand in their gardens and speak on the phone. Bree admits that she can understand why Carlos feels the way he does and says that as much as she would like to see Gaby, she can’t. Later, Bree goes to look after the Scavo house while they are away and Gaby arrives, claiming that she wanted to see Lynette. They start talking and eventually agree to have coffee together. Bree shuts the curtains so no-one can see them. Soon, they begin secretly spending time together. They admit that it is better because of the danger and Gaby suggests that they should go for a spa weekend. Later, Carlos arrives home and is surprised to see pineapple upside down cake – made by Bree – on the side. Gaby claims that she made it herself but Carlos is suspicious and asks her to make another one right now. He adds that he will watch her the entire time. Gaby goes to get the flour and spills some on herself. She tries to seduce Carlos, but he refuses to be distracted. Instead, she goes to clean off the flour and frantically calls Bree, asking for help. Bree decides to give her instructions on the phone and Gabrielle hides her headset with her hair. Bree guides her through the whole process as Carlos watches and makes her own cake at the same time. Later, the oven timer beeps and Gaby takes her cake out of the oven, but it collapses. She quickly throws a tea towel over it so that Carlos can’t see and claims it needs to cool on the windowsill. As she distracts him, Bree rushes over and swaps her perfect cake with Gaby’s disaster. Gaby tells Carlos that he should trust her and then shows him the perfect pineapple upside down cake. That weekend, she claims that she is going to the funeral of one of her old model friends. However, Carlos spots a red hair on her coat. Gaby claims that she hugged a clown at a birthday party, but Carlos takes her suitcase and discovers that she has packed bikinis and is planning a weekend away with Bree. He says that he banned her from seeing Bree and adds that ever since they moved to Wisteria Lane he feels like she always puts her friends first. He tells her to choose him or Bree, but Gaby tells him not to. However, he repeats that she has to choose.

Later, Gabrielle goes over to Bree’s house, explaining that there has been a change of plan because Carlos knows about them. She asks if she can stay with Bree and Bree agrees – but is shocked when Gaby also ushers in her daughters.

Meanwhile, Karen is shocked when Felicia comes over. Felicia hands her a brooch that belonged to Martha, to thank her for keeping her secret for years. She adds that she will never tell anyone about the role that Karen played that night. Karen tells her it’s not a good time to talk about it and is shocked to learn that Felicia is moving in next door. Inside, Karen asks Roy to get her a drink and has a flashback. She remembers seeing Felicia on the night that she cut off her fingers to frame Paul. Felicia explains what she has done and says that Paul will spend the rest of his life in prison if Karen says that she never saw Felicia. Karen is reluctant and begs Felicia not to make her do this, but eventually she agrees. Back in the present, Karen goes over to see Felicia, who explains that she got out of prison because her daughter died. Karen is shocked to hear that Felicia’s daughter was Beth. Felicia claims that Paul wrote to Beth begging her to come and see him and made Beth fall in love with him. She alleges that when Paul was released he told Beth she didn’t deserve to live and that he never loved her, so she killed herself. Karen is shocked and asks why Felicia wants to live on the same street as Paul. Felicia explains that she wants to make sure he never hurts another woman and Karen agrees to keep an eye on him as well. There to help Sara is Roxy Striar who is calling all the way from her home town Boston. It’s Desperate Housewives’s “Lies III Concealed” episode.

She leaves to see a friend from dialysis, Dick, but the doctor explains that Dick has been admitted to the hospital. Susan goes to see him and Dick admits that he has a viral infection. He tells Susan that she is lucky to get a kidney so quickly and tells her to gamble. He explains that when he is better he will take her to the casino by the airport as he has never won there. However, Susan explains that she is more of a casual poker player. Later, Susan plays poker with the other housewives and keeps winning, even without looking at her cards. She goes to see Dick to tell him about her success but finds his nephew, who reveals that Dick has died. The nephew hands Susan an envelope, which is marked: “Never walk away from a winning streak” and has a $100 chip inside. Susan goes to the casino and meets Roy, who is playing on the slot machines. She explains that she is playing for a friend and goes to play poker. Later, Roy comes to check on her progress and discovers that she has turned her $100 chip into $6,000. She goes all in and wins again, making over $12,000. However, she starts to cry and asks why she keeps winning and being lucky when other people lose – or die. Roy tells her a story about a close miss he had in Korea and tells her not to question it, but to enjoy it. Susan asks what happens when her luck runs out, but Roy tells her: “Why ask?”

Meanwhile, Lynette is thrilled when Tom hands her a cheque for $100,000 – his signing bonus. He tells her to spend $10,000 on something frivolous for herself. They arrange a celebratory dinner for later in the week. Later, Lynette shows off to the other housewives that she has bought a coffee maker but they are unimpressed and tell her to be more adventurous. Renee decides to take her clothes shopping but Lynette is uncomfortable and doesn’t feel she belongs. Renee pretends she can buy the boutique to make the shop assistant get them refreshments and Lynette soon falls in love with the boots, jeans and dress she tries on. When she buys the goods, she copies Renee’s lead and exerts her power over the shop assistant by making her open earlier the next day. Later, Renee comes over to check out Lynette’s preparations for her celebratory dinner. Lynette calls Tom to find out when he will be home and discovers that he has to fly to Montreal on the private jet for a meeting. Lynette is disappointed and Renee points out that this is the real price for being able to buy nice things and have all the perks. Lynette decides to surprise Tom and meets him on the jet to serve him dinner. However, Tom admits that he has lots of preparation to do for his meeting and doesn’t have time. Lynette says he deserves some fun, but Tom admits that the job is fun and he is loving every minute. He thanks her for giving him the confidence to take it. Soon, he has to take a phone call and Lynette leaves the plane sadly.

Bree congratulates Andrew for staying sober for 30 days. She advises him to stick to the AA’s 12 Steps but Andrew admits that he is struggling with step eight – making amends to people he has harmed. Bree believes that he is referring to her and says people are more forgiving than we give them credit for. However, Andrew reveals that Bree is far down his list. Bree is offended and points out that Andrew has done a lot to harm her, but he explains that top of his list is Carlos – because he ran over his mother. Bree is shocked and follows Andrew as he heads over to the Solis house, begging him not to come clean. Andrew finds Carlos, but before he can confess Bree jumps in and claims that Andrew wanted to thank Carlos for being like a surrogate father when Rex died. Carlos explains that he was also grieving because his mother had died and he is glad they could be there for each other. With Bree by his side, Andrew pretends that was all he wanted to say.

Bree is shocked when Gaby tells her that Carlos and Andrew have gone for a hunting trip together. Bree tells Gaby that she thinks Andrew is about to confess and the pair both fret about how Carlos will react. They can’t get through to the men’s phones because there is no signal in the woods, so decide to drive up there and Gaby gets Lee to watch the girls. When they arrive, in the pouring rain, they are surprised that Andrew is not in the cabin with Carlos. Carlos explains that he is hiking by the cliffs and says the rocks are slippery, so he hopes he is back soon. Gaby spots blood on Carlos’s hands, while Bree notices a shovel. They both jump to conclusions and Gaby asks what he has done to Andrew. Bree explains that it was an accident and Andrew didn’t mean to run over Carlos’s mother. She tells Carlos to blame her because she helped Andrew get rid of the car. However, at that moment Andrew returns from his hike. He is shocked when he discovers that Gaby and Bree have spilled the beans, explaining he never would have done so alone in the woods. Carlos is furious, but at that point, the park ranger arrives and reveals that a pine tree has fallen across an access road and they will have to stay for the night. Later, Carlos asks Andrew and Bree how they could have come to the funeral and produces a bottle of alcohol. Knowing that Andrew is trying to stay sober, he offers him a drink, before telling him that he has to toast his mother. Bree begs Carlos to stop, pointing out that they have been friends, but Carlos says they are no longer friends. Andrew says the only person Carlos should be angry with is him, not the people who knew about it. Carlos puts two and two together and realises that Gaby knew as well. He angrily storms out of the cabin and walks off as Gaby screams after him.

The next morning, Gaby, Andrew and Bree arrive home but have not found Carlos. Lee confronts Gaby, complaining that she left her kids with him all night without warning. He reveals that Carlos called to check he could look after them for a few more hours because he was going to another town. Gaby realises that he has gone to his mother’s tomb and they go after him. When they find him, Bree tries to apologise but Andrew asks her not to defend him, explaining he needs to do it himself. He goes to sit next to Carlos and Bree tells Gaby that she is proud of her son. Later, she bakes some muffins and takes them over to Carlos to thank him for forgiving Andrew. He tells her to go to Hell, explaining that he forgave Andrew because he was just a kid but Bree was an adult and his friend and covered it up. He says they are no longer friends and bans Bree from being friends with Gaby. Gaby tries to protest, but he overrules her. “You’re not even going to wave to us on the street,” he says. “That’s how it’s going to be.” He slams the door and Gaby and Bree stare at each other through the glass.

Paul is shocked to discover that the door of one of his houses is open. He heads over and discovers Felicia, who has inherited the house from Beth as Paul bought it in her name. Paul is even more annoyed when he discovers that Felicia has taken Beth’s ashes. Later, Felicia goes to Paul’s house and apologises for the way she behaved. She says that she wants them to scatter Beth’s ashes together at a lake Beth used to like. She claims that she wants Paul to come because Beth loved him – and she doesn’t have a car yet. Paul reluctantly agrees. The next day, the pair begin the drive to the lake and Felicia suggests that Beth would be glad they are spending time together as their hate killed her. Felicia then asks Paul if her sister, Martha, suffered when Paul killed her. Paul refuses to answer and Felicia acknowledges that Martha drove Mary-Alice to kill herself. Paul is surprised that Felicia has admitted that, but Felicia explains that Paul loved Mary-Alice so killed Martha, and she loved Martha so tried to destroy Paul. She says that Beth paid the price and she hopes they can put a stop to the cycle and get closure. Paul agrees, but is seen hiding a gun.

The pair arrive at the lake and start bickering until Paul says he doesn’t trust Felicia. Felicia reveals that she knows Paul brought a gun with him, but eventually pulls it on him, having taken it from him earlier. She points out that she could shoot him right there as it his gun and she could claim self-defence. However, instead she throws it into the lake. She claims that she doesn’t want them to fear each other anymore and wants everything to be over. Paul scatters Beth’s ashes. The pair return to Wisteria Lane but when Felicia arrives home it emerges that Paul has not scattered Beth’s ashes, but just some ashes from the fire. Felicia sifts Beth’s real ashes back into the urn and promises to make Paul pay for what he did to her. She tells Beth’s ashes that shooting Paul would be too quick and death is the easy way out. There to help Derrick is the fabulous Sara Stretton and Roxy Striar. It’s Desperate Housewives’s “Moments in the Woods” episode.

Her last wish was to donate a kidney to her dear friend Susan Delfino. Beth and Susan weren’t really friends. That’s probably why a grieving Paul tells his former neighbor that there’s no way she’s going to strip his wife for spare parts. Mike wants to fight this thing. The law is on their side. But that doesn’t matter to Susan. She barely acknowledged Beth in life, so why should she deserve anything from her in death?

Later, Paul lets Susan know that he’s alerted the transplant office to move forward with Beth’s wishes. When he breaks down in tears, Susan gives him a hug. One can only suspect things will only get worse for Paul once he learns Felicia Tilman is being released from prison.

Tom gets a great new job offer, but declines the deal out of loyalty to Carlos. This has Lynette scheming for ways to get him to reconsider. She performs a little bedroom seduction that’s typically reserved for corporate hotshots. As sexy as this scene is, Tom won’t be swayed. He tells her he will ask Carlos to match the offer, which he doesn’t.

Lynette swings by the local car dealership to borrow a $70,000 sports car. She parks that it in Carlos’ driveway so that Tom can see that his boss certainly can afford to pay him better. The plan works. Tom accepts the new job, but wants to renege once he learns what his wife did. A test drive in the sports car has Tom reconsidering his position.

Bree receives a call from Karen McCluskey in the early hours of the morning, telling her that Andrew was on her couch, passed out. Bree goes over to the house with Alex and they collect Andrew. They take him home, and then she and Alex talk about Andrew’s problem. Alex mentions that he is thinking of leaving Andrew because of the seriousness of the problem, but Bree pleads with him not to if she could help him.

Later on at Andrew’s house, Bree asks Andrew to come back to another meeting, but he insists that he doesn’t have a problem and that he is fine. Bree accepts this at first and leaves but then remembers about Beth and her pain, so she goes back inside and begs Andrew to discuss his problems. Andrew gets emotional as he tells her that Alex had left him due to his addiction. Bree asks Andrew one last time to come to the AA meeting, but he still says no. However, they end up having their own private meeting; just the two of them.

Desperate Housewives S:7 | Searching E:16 | AfterBuzz TV AfterShow

AFTERBUZZ TV – Desperate Housewives edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. In tonight’s episode host Derrick Shore breaks down the episode in which Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) sees Lee McDermott (Kevin Rahm) teaching Jenny Hunter-McDermott to play the violin. Gabrielle finds out that Jenny will be performing in a school talent show and is rather impressed at Jenny’s abilities. However, Gabrielle questions and downgrades Lee’s form of parenting—forcing his child to do many things to make him proud. Angered, Lee challenges Gabrielle that both Jenny and Juanita Solis (Madison De La Garza) should compete against each other at the talent show to see whose form of parenting is better. After agreeing to this, Gabrielle gets worried when Juanita seems to spend her time eating ice cream and her ability (or talent, as she sees it) to make farting noises with her armpit. Annoyed, Gabrielle forces Juanita to try tap dancing in the talent show. A few days later, Gabrielle’s ongoing pressurizing finally takes its toll on Juanita who decides to give up after having been very exhausted from the daily training. Gabrielle then convinces her to not let her talent go to waste and Juanita gives in. At the talent show, while Gabrielle and Lee exchange smirks and underestimating remarks, Gabrielle is shocked that Juanita’s practice routine is very odd and untalented and to prevent being embarrassed when Juanita gets to perform onstage, Gabrielle purposely hides Juanita’s tap dancing shoes under a heater, forcing Juanita to drop out of the talent show. Gabrielle is then impressed at Bob and Lee applauding and encouraging Jenny after her performance and realizes that she, herself, is the one who has no good parenting skills and is surprised at Juanita’s disappointment at not being able to perform. Just before the talent show ends, Gabrielle gains the courage to have Juanita perform after revealing where her shoes are and as Juanita performs onstage, a proud Gabrielle smiles at her daughter’s accomplishment.

Following her recent loss of consciousness due to a further kidney failure accident, Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) and Mike Delfino (James Denton) are shocked when a nurse tells them that Susan’s kidney is critically failing and that her dialysis is not helping at all, meaning that Susan will die if she does not receive a kidney transplant immediately. The nurse also says that if she has anything she has always wanted to do her whole life but not being able to yet, she should “do them now”. Fearing that her days are numbered, Susan decides to let every minute in her life last and she and Mike decide to go on a picnic in the very same forest where they got married privately years ago. As the two being to make love to each other, Civil War reenactors interrupt them, revealing that Susan and Mike have accidentally stumbled on a film set. As one of the actors order them to leave, Mike retaliates by telling him of Susan’s life-threatening condition and that they are trying to make the best of their marriage as Susan is dying. Before their argument continues to intensify, Susan manages to pull Mike away and they head back to their car. Unfortunately, their car has apparently ran out of petrol, forcing the two to walk home. While travelling down a road in the wilderness, Mike accidentally injures his foot when he stumbled on a rock. Susan tries to tend the wound but Mike prevents her from doing so, saying that he should be the one taking care of her instead of her for him. A disgruntled Mike angrily admits that he is also suffering that he knows that Susan is dying and there’s nothing he can do about it. Susan tells him that she will live through this as she wants to live with Mike until they’re old and see M.J. graduate. The two ponder at the possibility of whether to continue making the best out of their lives and they walk down the road, smiling as Mike leans on Susan for support.

Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) is shocked to learn that Renee Perry (Vanessa L. Williams) is considering to have a child of her own whether or not she’ll adopt or birth it. A worried Lynette stops Renee in her tracks and tells her that she doesn’t have any experience in raising a baby. Intrigued, Renee accepts Lynette’s challenge of babysitting Paige Scavo for the night as Lynette wants to have dinner with Tom (Doug Savant). That night, as Lynette and Tom enjoy being in a restaurant without hearing any of their children’s needs, they are surprised to see that Renee is at the same restaurant with Paige but with a man, implying she’s on a date while babysitting Paige, something that Lynette completely disapproves of. Lynette is further taken aback that Renee has paid one of the waitresses to babysit and tend to Paige while she concentrates on her date. Lynette then takes Paige from the waitress and when Renee finds that Paige has gone missing. She humiliates herself by shouting out for Paige in the restaurant as she frantically searches for her everywhere. Eventually, she sees Paige in the care of Lynette and Tom and they express their disappointment in Renee for poorly handling Paige and they say that she’ll never be a good mother. The next day, Renee comes over and apologizes to Lynette, admitting that Lynette’s right that she’ll never be able to correctly mother a child. The two then agree to have a night out with Paige although Renee expresses that Paige should be by Lynette’s side as she might do something wrong again to Paige.

Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross) invites Reverend Sykes (Dakin Matthews) for a snack and when Sykes realizes that Bree’s cookies are the best she has ever made yet, he asks her what she has done this time as he knows that Bree’s culinary triumphs always happen when she’s down (implying Bree’s habit of having the house clean, doing chores and being perfect during a crisis). A depressed Bree admits that God has taken everything from her over the past year, having lost her business to her scheming stepson Sam Allen (Samuel Page), her children Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom) and Danielle (Joy Lauren) never call or keep in touch with her anymore and is now a single woman again after both Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan) and Keith Watson (Brian Austin Green) have left her. Sykes says she should substitute her sorrows with helping her friend Susan to find a kidney donor in the neighborhood, following the announcement of Susan’s kidney dilemma. As a result, Bree, along with Lynette, Gabrielle and Renee, helps to organize a trap to have most of Wisteria Lane and neabry neighborhood’s residents in her house so as to have everyone blood-tested to see who can be Susan’s kidney donor. The results are revealed to be both Bree and Beth Young (Emily Bergl) to have the same blood type as Susan, making the only two suitable donors. Bree then tells Beth she will be Susan’s kidney donor as she wants to do something that means a lot to Susan and as a purpose for her life.

Beth Young has been facing social troubles after Paul Young (Mark Moses) kicked her out of his house. Now living in a motel, Beth pays Paul a sudden visit to profess her love to him and confess all her secrets regarding her involvement with Felicia Tilman (Harriet Sansom Harris). Paul doesn’t exchange any romantic moments with her and as he tells her to leave immediately, he subtly tells Beth that he did kill Martha Huber (Christine Estabrook), shocking her. She quickly heads to visit Felicia in prison to tell her about Paul’s confession. However, her mother berates her for being so stupid as to not get the confession on tape and that Beth is useless to her, telling the guards to remove her daughter from the visitor list. Later, Bree comes to Beth’s motel to reveal they’re both a match to be a kidney donor for Susan but Bree wants to do it in order to feel needed. With nothing else left in her life, Beth ignores Bree’s decision and goes to the hospital. Beth wrongfully but intentionally goes up to a nurse in the counter in the Emergency/Intensive Care Unit part of the building. She makes sure the nurse in the waiting room files the paperwork ensuring her kidney will go to Susan despite the annoyed nurse repeatedly telling her to go to the correct part of the hospital where they’ll see and critique her papers but the nurse gives in and accepts the papers, promising to handle them for her. As she thanks the nurse for being kind she leaves the counter for a moment, a smiling Beth then pulls a gun out of her purse and shoots herself in the head. As she falls to the ground, doctors and the very same nurse that Beth last had a conversation with attend to her body though her head is unseen, making it unclear whether or not Beth has truly been killed by the gunshot. There to help Derrick are co-hosts Roxy Striar, Jen Rouleau, Sara Stretton and Sharon Mae. In the special segment Derrick gets his beautiful co-hosts to share some personal “talents”.
