This week has been a rollercoaster of emotions with our idols. We have new content, new music, postponements and sneak peaks. Let’s jump in!

IU & BTS’ Suga

IU and Suga released “Eight” on May 6. They officially reached All-Kill status on May 8th, hitting the number 1 spot on various international charts. This is not surprising because I’ve had this song in repeat since it came out. We love this collaboration!

The ladies surprised BLINKs on Instagram live and they revealed the inside scoop about comeback prep. They shared that they’ve been in the studio nearly every day preparing. At that moment, they were in the studio for a meeting about their music video. I hope they keep the details comin’!

TVXQ & Super Junior

SM announced that they’ve added TVXQ and Super Junior to the line-up for Beyond LIVE concerts. TVXQ hasn’t performed a full concert since 2017 and Super Junior since 2019. I will definitely be tuning in!

On the eve of DAY6’s comeback, JYP announced that they will be suspending the band’s promotions in order to focus on the members’ mental health. They were given the medical advice to get a sufficient amount of rest. Their full album, The Book of Us: The Demon, and Zombie music video dropped on May 11th. Please continue to support the guys by streaming! We wish all of DAY6 the very best.

I SCREAMED when I saw that TWICE posted a new Feel Special dance practice video with Mina included! When they filmed the original version, Mina was on hiatus to focus on her mental health. Having all nine back together for their June 1 comeback is definitely special.

Raiden & EXO’s Chanyeol

I am a huge fan of Chanyeol a.k.a Loey’s solo projects. His new song, Yours, with Raiden featuring LeeHi and CHANGMO is different from his latest releases and we’re really feeling it. We also catch Chanyeol singing with R&B vibes. Who knew that’s what we needed?!

I told you this week was a rollercoaster! We’re happy that everyone is dropping new music and also taking care of themselves. We hope you’re doing the same. See you next week!
