Fall is almost here… and so is Red (Taylor’s Version)! Nothing says autumn leaves and flannels like a bit of evermore; I mean, that is the whole album aesthetic.

Throughout her 15-year career, Taylor Swift has released a plethora of songs that fit perfectly into the atmosphere of fall. Whether you’re driving through tree-lined streets blaring “All Too Well” or drinking a pumpkin spice latte with “Ours” playing softly in the background, each Taylor Swift album has a fall song. Here is our list of 10 perfect Taylor Swift songs to add to your fall playlist.

“august” – folklore

The obvious choice to start the fall playlist is fan favorite “august.”
“august” is an airy song that hints at the end of summer; one that makes you feel like you’re on the beach with a sweater as the sun goes down. “august” is the perfect introduction to the start of fall, plus it’s named after the last month of summer, so it just fits.

“Begin Again” – Red

Following closely is “Begin Again.” Another introductory song, “Begin Again,” is a warm invitation to a cafe, handing you your first hot chocolate of the season.

“Ours” – Speak Now Deluxe

Ours is the perfect fall love song. This gem is often forgotten as it appears as a deluxe song on Speak Now; however, it is the perfect addition to the beginning of this playlist.

“gold rush” – evermore

There are so many fall songs on evermore, it’s hard not to choose them all. “gold rush” is a song that can’t be forgotten on any playlist, so of course, it had to be added.

‘“Holy Ground” – Red

“Holy Ground” is one of Red’s unforgettable masterpieces. Listening to this song practically creates a music video of you running around town with a past lover during October. Definitely adding it to the playlist.

“Story of Us” – Speak Now

“Story of Us” is not only one of Taylor Swift’s best songs, but it wins the award for most underrated music video.

“Breathe (feat. Colbie Calliat)” – Fearless (Taylor’s Version)

“Breathe feat. Colbie Calliat” is an absolute masterpiece. The strumming of the guitar, the harmonies, the chorus, all of it feels like walking through a small town with brown suede boots and apple cider.

“Haunted” – Speak Now

How can “Haunted” not be on this list? No explanation is needed.

“Fearless” – Fearless (Taylors Version)

This is the perfect song to play on Homecoming night this fall. Put on some “Fearless” and dance in a storm with your best dress.

“All Too Well” – Red

Finally, we can’t forget the fall anthem and best song ever created. “All Too Well” should be on every playlist you’ve ever made. Hold on to your scarves this November when the 10-minute version of “All Too Well” is released!

While about 50 other songs of Swift’s would fit perfectly into this playlist, these 10 truly are the perfect introduction to sweater weather. Now, we must wait patiently until November 19th for the real fall playlist: Red (Taylor’s Version).
