The world is forever changing, adapting, and progressing, but it has suddenly been told to put on the breaks, at every level of society.  Even royalty is affected.  Case in point: Prince Charles.

If there is one certainty that has been made clear over the last few weeks, it is that the virus is not biased. The royal family recently announced Prince Charles tested positive for the Coronavirus, making him the first positive test in the royal family.

Charles’ last public appearance was with the Queen and Princes William and Harry on March 9th, at Westminster Abbey.

Charles was tested on March 23rd and from that day forward he’s been adopting the “new norm” , like the rest of the world, in quarantine at home.

“He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual. In accordance with Government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland.” Clarence house said.

Although it is unclear where Charles caught the virus, he was taking precautionary measures well before his diagnosis, still sending love and respect to colleagues and friends, using a “namaste” gesture.

“The Prince had been avoiding shaking hands with members of the public at a number of events recently, instead choosing to use the ‘namaste’ gesture.” Clarence house said.

The importance of self-isolation, rest and recovery has been stressed through a number of outlets as the virus continues to spread worldwide, leaving everyone to adjust to a new form of working from home and social distancing.

In the spirit of the Royals, we can call it, “Keep Calm and Stay at Home”
