On this week’s episode of AfterBuzz TV’s WWE Hall of Fame Wishes, hosts Jack Farmer (@realjackfarmer) and Steve Kaufmann (@stevekaufmann) broke down who they most wished would be added to the WWE Hall of Fame.

The duo started by listing 16 of the women they wanted to see added to the Hall of Fame, that currently could qualify. Meaning they: 1) Were not already in the Hall of Fame and, 2) Were no longer active.

The field consisted of 16 women with a wide range of accolades. From great in ring performers like Jazz and Molly Holly, to managers like Miss Elizabeth and Vicki Guerrero, as well as ring announcer Lillian Garcia.

The hosts went round by round and discussed the merits (of which there were many) of each one. Eliminating each participant one by one. Many being tough decisions (Particularly, Molly Holly vs Jazz in the first round, Victoria vs Sable in the second round, and of course, the finals), the hosts differed to show Producer, Vito Scutti, for a tie breaker decision on many occasions.

Of course, with this being a ‘Wish’ list, many of the common tropes that may prevent someone from being selected were thrown out, allowing the hosts to break down what made them want the performers inducted, instead of the likelihood of them getting inducted.

Eventually, the winner was declared and it was none other than AJ Lee! In a unanimous win in the finals. Her ring talent, mic skills, overall use in the show, being important in the transition in perception of women’s wrestling from the Diva’s Championship Era to the Women’s Championship Era as key reasons for her securing the win.

While all the women listed in the tournament deserve a chance to be entered into the WWE Hall of Fame, if we had one wish to be added next, it would be crazy for us to pick anyone else.
