Join Jaimi Gray as she sits down with Chantelle Albers to discuss her current projects!
Albers is set to star in the horror film, The 6th Friend, which she is also producing. The projects reunites her with former co-star Dominique Swain and also stars Jessica Morris.Albers plays Melissa, one of six college best friends who throws their own private graduation party that goes terribly wrong when an uninvited guest arrives. Out of self-defense, the girls find themselves in a night filled with murder. After five years passed, the horror of the past follows them as their demons come back to haunt them in another night of horror and bloodshed. The film will be released domestically and on VOD January 15. It has been making the rounds on the festival circuit, winning several awards includingBest Horror Film at the Independent Showcase Film Festival, a Freaky Award at the Freak Show Horror Film Festival, and Best Picture at the RIP Horror Film Festival.
Things are not slowing down for Albers. She is currently filming Promises, where she plays a singer who finds out that her daughter has a life-threatening illness and is unable to afford her medical care. The film depicts a journey of a mother’s love and how far she will go for her daughter. She is also no stranger to the small screen where she had memorable guest-starring roles on hit TV shows such as Modern Family, Suspense and Mob City. Please see more information on Albers below:
