On the Sunday, April 16th installment of Afterbuzz TV’s “Mets Wrap 360”, hosts Christian Bladt and Melissa Weinstein take an exhaustive (and exhausting!) look back at the previous week of New York Mets baseball, which found the team with  an overall 5-3 record, filled with explosive offense and mixed results from the bullpen. After rolling off 5 impressive wins in a row, including a 14-4 win in Philadelphia on Tuesday night and a hard-fought 16th inning victory in Miami on Thursday, the Mets had three consecutive nights of meltdowns in the bullpen, which continue to highlight the important role played by the absent Jeruys Familia, who is serving a suspension for a domestic incident in the off-season.Christian and Melissa also looked ahead to this week’s rematch at home against the Philadelphia Phillies with Zack Wheeler, Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndegaard all expected to take the mound. They also talk about their expectations for the first meeting of the season between the Mets and Washington Nationals, games with Familia will have returned in time for, and include a Saturday afternoon contest on Fox and another ESPN Sunday night game, which will coincide with the show time for the April 23rd installment of Mets Wrap 360.
