Freeform recently announced its upcoming series Marvel’s New Warriors that will feature a new unique superhero team led by none other than the ever popular Squirrel Girl. The major question for the panel was which Hollywood actress will be donning the giant squirrel tail?

Marvel Movie News answered and their top three choices for the role of Squirrel Girl include: Mae Whitman (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Shannon Purser (Stranger Things), and Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect). Regardless of who will play the iconic role, the bigger question is who will Squirrel Girl’s team consist of?

In the realm of Marvel’s Netflix series, season 2 of Jessica Jones has added Janet McTeer to its cast. McTeer’s role is currently being described as an “undisclosed character who will have an enormous impact on Jessica’s life”.

This of course has our marvelous panel wondering who exactly she’ll be playing in the upcoming season. Will McTeer be friend or foe?

A story that currently has Marvel Movie News speculating is the supposedly leaked synopsis for Marvel’s The Inhumans. This synopsis states, “After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

Moving onto the bigscreen, Sylvester Stallone’s mysterious role in Guardians of The Galaxy vol. 2 has possibly been identified. An Italian document with casting information for the film, revealed Stallone’s role to be character known as “Stakar”. That being said, Marvel Movie News has come up with the solution that Stallone will be playing Stakar, better known as Starhawk. This brings us to the enigmatic Thor: Ragnarok trailer. The trailer already has broken the record for most watch Marvel trailer, after only being released a mere 24 hours. The panel was in agreement that the 80s inspired montage was one of the most well-executed trailers from Marvel in quite a while. Cate Blanchett as the villainous Hela was a major standout along with

the reappearance of Tom Hiddleston’s notorious Loki. Ending the trailer was the start of a duelbetween Thor and the Hulk himself, which Matt Key predicted before the trailer was even released. We’ll probably have to wait until San Diego Comic Con to get another jaw-dropping trailer, but luckily the wait for the movie won’t be too long when Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters November 3rd, 2017.
