Lionsgate recently acquired the package and will distribute the film.
Susanna Fogel, best known for her work on ABC Family’s “Chasing Life”, will direct the original project and co-write the script with David Iserson.

Imagine Entertainment will produce the feature.
The idea is that the film would shoot during McKinnon’s “Saturday Night Live” hiatus and sources say the one thing holding up the deal was making sure both McKinnon and Kunis’ schedules lined up.
Besides “Saturday Night Live”, McKinnon can be seen next opposite Scarlett Johansson in the Sony comedy “Rough Night.” She also is attached to star in “The Lunch Witch” for DreamWorks and “Women in Business” for Fox. She is repped by UTA and Principato-Young Entertainment.
Kunis was most recently seen in the hit comedy “Bad Moms” and has the sequel “Bad Moms Christmas” bowing this December. She is repped by CAA and Curtis Brown Management.
