Fans of “The Fast and the Furious” franchise will soon be able to enjoy a “Fast and Furious Live” arena tour. Universal Studios is teaming up with Brand Events to have performance drivers and authentic digital projections re-create some of the stunts and cars from the franchise.
The tour will be starting in January 2018 but the locations are still unknown.
“Fast & Furious Live will transform the live-entertainment industry in the same way the global box-office franchise has redefined the action genre,” said President of Universal Brand Development, Vince Klaseus. “Fans will experience everything they love about the films in an up-close and incredibly cool live show, putting them in the center of the action.”
“This is set to be the most spectacular live-automotive production in history,” said executive producer James Cooke-Priest.
The latest movie of the franchise, “The Fate of the Furious,” starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Charlize Theron will open in theaters on April 14.
